Show & Tell

2020 - 2022

This project, realised by The Photography Movement and supported by Cisco, spotlights the all-important topic of mental health in young people, asking the simple but often overlooked question; How are you feeling?

My involvement in this project has been to support the development of the programme, including:

  • Being a part of the initial artist films (see here) to support the inspiration of young people using photography as a way to document their lives;

  • Advising on the connection between photography and mental health for young people;

  • Sourcing inspirational guest speakers for online sessions and hosting these thematic sessions focusing on body image, diversity, mental health, inclusion, online and digital safety.

Find out more about this fantastic national project for young people by playing the showreel below. You can also see my video for the project, talking about my experience in discovering photography and setting a task for young people. Check out the Show and Tell website for full information on the project and to see the selection of images for the How are you feeling? exhibition.
